Here but not......

I don't know if anyone noticed but I haven't been around a ton......well, ok I was but in a sneaky, just checking in once a week or so way.

We are still making progress but it is slow........and coming here was stealing my focus from my homelife. I was starting to feel like the progress we were making wasn't good enough. And headed to a bad place in my head. So I had to take a break.

But darn if you people aren't hard to stay away from. :P So I am going to try and keep this in check.

Finding out today that we are expecting #4, I figured I might need a little support to stay on task. So I am back.

DH and I have contemplated not saving except for maybe bumping up our EF a few thousand and then to just keep plowing ahead. Still hoping to have the PMI paid off and dropped by August. Baby isn't due until Nov so we might just use his year-end bonus for baby bills and just keep swimming.

Still trying to see if this is the best move for us. I just don't know if I can go back to storm cloud mode again. It's hard to break out of that sometimes. ;)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! How exciting :)

We aren't expecting, but I can totally relate to slow progress. I keep thinking "I should blog", then the next thought is "about what????"

Hugs & congrat's :)

Congrats!!!!

I stand behind Dave on the storm cloud mode..... it really is the smartest thing to do, until mom and baby come home safe and sound. ;-)

Awesome! Four is a great number <3. You have a lot of time to decide what feels best to do, right?

I've never understood the baby thing being a "storm cloud", unless of course you don't have insurance. I would just plan on having whatever your out-of pocket max would be and call it a day, but that's just me.

Thanks all! Now that it has sunk in, I am feeling good about it. Sometimes a little overwhelmed but in general good.

I have started to notice some annoying nausea which I had with two out of three of the others, but not this early. Hoping that is not a sign of bad things to come.

I think Dave's thought is go with the worst case scenario, financially, and then when everything is fine.. you throw the snowball you have saved up.. no harm no foul.

I had 2 text book pregnancies and then my third ended up with some issues. It was wonderful to know the money was stockpiled and there if we needed it.

Well, went to the new midwife today and will be having an ultrasound in about 4 weeks for dating and such. I guess we can put these ugly "twin" rumors to rest then. ;)

I asked DH what we would do and he said that would be wonderful......this from the parent that does get to escape the house every week day. LOL

Woohoo hurray!

I certainly noticed you weren't around much. I can relate to how distracting online forums and social networking can be. Stepping away isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just don't step permanently.
