DH found a good, comfortable pair of work pants when he went shopping for his hat and he only has one pair of grubby jeans, so I gave him permission to buy the pants too. He spent $67.95 and I took the other $28 from the gas budget as we hardly drove the car last week.

He also had to see the doctor this week. The appointment cost $125.65 and he got $95 cash back from Medicare so I have cash for next week's groceries pretty much. But that was $30.65 I didn't budget that has to come out of our snowball. (the medical budget is for my chiro appointment coming up)

We both had to recharge our mobiles this week.

I still have nearly $30 in the grocery envelope!

Our power bill came in - due next week and $220 more than we have in the sinking fund for it.

DH had a slow work week - only 22.5 hours and none OT so not much income to budget with tomorrow. But the good news is a $1707.82 lump sum from family assistance back payments. Should be able to top up the BEF and get our long overdue car repairs done (shocks and radiator and breaks are getting close too) If there's anything left it will go to debt of course.
