- I understand that LLNOE is a Personal Finance Site that is here devoted to the plan developed and taught by Dave Ramsey (learn more at www.daveramsey.com). I am here to learn more, to be held accountable, and help others within the Total Money Make Over (Financial Peace) Plan.
While not required it is advisable that you have listened to Dave Ramsey on his Radio Show, or TV program, read some of his books, and/or attended Financial Peace University so you will have a better understanding of Dave’s program and this web site.
I understand that I will not cause problems by ridiculing, bashing, “putting down” this plan and causing others to stumble in this plan while participating at this site. This site is here to help those that have made the commitment to work this plan, not some other financial program. I fully understand that I could be banned if breaking this covenant.
- Flaming, Harassment, Bashing, Baiting, Threats and Trolling
Calling people names, swearing at people, following people around on various threads to purposefully bother or harass them, sending them Private Messages when they tell you not to, threatening people or just directly provoking or baiting people just for the purpose of getting a negative reaction is not allowed on our forums. Any word used in a derogatory fashion against somebody constitutes a personal attack and will be treated that way. This applies to all posters and all areas of our forums. We expect posters here to respect each other, even if they disagree and dislike each other, so please keep personal disputes off our forums.

- Private Messages/Email Distribution, Personal Information and Moderator/Manager Correspondence
-All posts, emails, Private Messages are the property of LLNOE.
-Private Messages can not be reposted without permission from both parties.
-No Solicitation of services of products and/or other web sites using the LLNOE Private Messaging System. (See Rule 7 as well)
-People can Officially Request that others not send them Private Messages, but the same has to be followed in reverse.
-Any correspondence (chat/game/instant message logs, email, private message, etc) originating or involving a Moderator/Manager/Staff Member is considered private and can not be reposted on the forums, only exception is the Private Moderator Forum..
-We reserve the right to edit or delete any logs, emails Private Messages or other correspondence being posted on our forums regardless of its intent, content or source.

- Porn, Explicit Pictures & Babe Threads
Posts or links with Pornography and explicit pictures or videos like dead bodies, people blowing up, feces, cartoon sex acts or genitalia, etc. are not allowed.
Dedicated Babe Threads (male or female) are not allowed.
1 Month Ban Minimum
- Criminal Content
Discussing, promoting, advocating or giving instructions on activities that are illegal (ie- how to kill people, steal cars, break into somebody's house, grow drug plants, hack into somebody's computer, etc) is not allowed. Using our forums to somehow conduct criminal behavior or break laws (such as fraud) is obviously against the rules.

- Talk of Suicide
If you come on this forum discussing suicide or the taking of your life (joking or otherwise), we will report this to the authorities. If you’re talking about it, you’re serious, and we will do what we can to get you immediate help.

- Avatars, Signatures & Promotion
You have the option to use a avatar that is provided by LLNOE or loading your own avatar if you wish. However it must be of a tasteful nature and the staff of LLNOE will have final say as to if it is appropriate for LLNOE.
Signatures must be of a tasteful nature. Pictures of graphics are not allowed in Signatures EXCEPT signatures of Charter Members. No hyperlinks to promotional sites, sites where you are recruiting others for the sole purpose to make money off their recruitment. If you own your own business (NO MLM’s) you ARE allowed to place a link to your business web site IF 1) You are a Charter Member, and 2) You have your own 1st tier domain name owned by you. Sorry no sub domains (2nd and 3rd tier domains) allowed unless you own the main domain name. You may also post a link to your personal blog, provided the primary goal of said blog is to inspire or help others, and not generate income. We (the staff) reserve the right to remove links to any blog we feel doesn't meet this subjective guideline. If your link is removed, you will be PM'd as to why, and asked to not add it to your signature again.
Promotions While affiliate marketing (the promotion of other sites and services and products in exchange for some reward) is a legitimate way to introduce people to great products and services, please no affiliate links in any threads/posts in LLNOE. Only possible exception to this, by prior approval only from a LLNOE Administrator (Admin) a Charter Member of LLNOE may make a useful recommendation that would be a link to a product service OR their own web sites that sells or links further to sites for the purpose of making a direct sell or affiliate sell. Final approval for promotions of this nature will come from a LLNOE Admin.
1 Week minimum Ban and Signature and or Avatar (including all unapproved links) will be removed.
- Moderation
-You may not re-edit a post that has already been edited by a Moderator.
-You may not bait, insult, flame, harass or otherwise abuse Moderators.
-Discussing Bans or any Moderator actions publicly on the forum is not permitted! Please ask questions via the Private Message system to individual Moderators or Managers. (Remember, these Private Messages/Correspondence are private and can not be redistributed.)
-If you have a problem with a Mod action or a Moderator, discuss it with the Moderator directly.

- Exceptions, Cases of Abuse & Unique Situations
We realize that sometimes there may be reasons to make exceptions to some of the rules and the LLNOE Moderator Staff reserves the right to be able to make exceptions to rules if we think it is for the betterment of this Community. As well, abusive or unique situations will always come up, and we hold the right to deal with these situations, as we see fit, regardless of whether we have a rule for it or not. Please do not think that because something is not stated in the rules, that this gives you a ticket to think up or create new ways to abuse our forums or its posters. Such behavior won’t be tolerated.

This site is founded on traditional Christian family values. Please refrain from inappropriate language in any form, including substituting characters such as @!$% or using acronyms like LMAO. No sexual innuendo or anything else not family friendly for both adults and minors.
While we do desire people of all faiths to feel welcome here, we ask that you be respectful of the way that we have chosen to live our lives, in the same way that we would expect to follow your rules if we came to your house.

- Political Posts
This is not a political forum, although admittedly at times the things our government does will have financial impact. Please keep discussions about the financial aspects, not the politics. We all have differing opinions surrounding politics, and rather than letting those differences divide us, we’d rather all just focus on getting mad at debt together, instead of getting mad at each other. Because when it comes to personal finance, we are all on the same side, and that’s why we are here.

We want LLNOE to be a safe place where people can feel open about discussing sensitive issues like finances. Information posted here is for discussion in this community, not to be cut and pasted elsewhere. Primarily enforcement of this is up to your own integrity, but when a gross compromise is brought to our attention, action will be taken here.
