Well LivingLikeNoOneElse.com will be ONE YEAR OLD as of June 16, 2006. June 16 is the Day Lloyd and I took the site LIVE and opened it to the general public.

By June 30, 2005, LLNOE.com had 203 Members!! As of the writing of this annoucement we have 2175!!!!! And I am sure by June 30, 2006 it will be 2203 members! I NEVER imagined it would grow this big!

So JimFPU and I have decide to have a little get together at our home Sunday June 25, 2006 for some "burger burnings" and fellowship. If your in the Houston area or plan to be in the Houston area Sunday June 25 we welcome you to stop by and say HI and par take in some good times.

If you would like to stop by PM me and I will be happy to give directions.

Technically, I can't afford the plane tickets right now, but I just got my new credit card in the mail since it auto-renewed. :yep:

So....you can count on me to be there! Thanks for the invite, Roy! Look forward to meeting all of you.

:laugh2: Yeah, I'm joking. I DID get my auto-renewed credit card and I would love to meet everyone, BUT the credit card met my shredder and I really can't afford tickets so maybe next year.

Those of you who can go, have fun! Drink some kool-aid for me. :ka:

P.S. Why would anyone bash LLNOE? :noclue:

Hello,

Well, if I wasn't gazelle, I'd hop on a plane and go, since I have family in Humble, not too far away. But ... I'm too gazelle! *cry*

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

From someone who desperately needed a place like this to come to. If I was debt free, I would definitely be there. But since I'm not debt free yet, I'll be thinking of you all on that fab day.

Congrats on year one! I will be with you in spirit.

You and Lloyd created a great site for people to share ideas, be held accountable, grow, debate, love, cry, pray and encourage.

Raise a Coke or a Coors in Lloyd's memory!

So, we are down to the final week. Meeting at Roy's house Sunday afternoon. Who's bringing what?

We have 2 adults 4 kids. Are we cooking burgers? We'll bring the buns at least. What else do we need to contribute? Is there a pool? Do we need to bring kid entertainment? We need details!

Well as of right now its just you guys and Dorothy and us. And maybe a few others, not sure.

But counting on the buns, I will have the burger meat and maybe some chickens. So just bring what you think you would like.

Sorry no pool, didn't get around to borrowing money for it before Dave Ramsey. But ther is a nice big area if your kids like Basketball. It doesnt matter, how old are your kidos? I dont think you said or I cant remember. My youngest is 17. I am sure he would be MORE than willing to challenge them in a video game or two or on the basketball court.

Well anyway I was thinking of start the grill around 4 PM or 4:30 you can show up any time you like, and if you dont have a place to go to Church Sunday Morning, your welcome to come visit ours if you like.

Well I think the LLNOE Birthday bash was a huge success!!

I'll post pictures as I have time. It was good to meet everyone, and spend time with y'all! the kids had a great time, and talked a lot about the fireworks the got to handle (sparklers). They also really enjoyed the ponies next door (especially the little one!)

Thanks for having us out Roy and Gail, you were truly a blessing to be with.

Although the turnout was small, I agree that it was a huge sucess.

I already knew Roy and Gail, but it was fun spending time with them and seeing their property. They were very hospitable.

It was neat meeting Jim & Kim and their 4 children (K, M, H & C). They are a neat family and I'm looking forward to seeing them again (hopefully sooner than next year's bash).
