Local FPU class!

I am so happy that a church has finally decided to do an FPU class here! It starts October 20, so I'm working 2 extra days in order to afford the cost. I plan to take my 14yo with me so he can learn about what dh and I are trying to do with this budget. I wish my dh could come, but he works 2nd shift, so it would just be me and ds14. I'm really looking forward to actually taking the classes!

Sounds great. And with your son going, it could really change the family tree going forward.

Although hubby will miss out on the class, you will be getting a copy of the audio of all class presentations. So if he's willing to listen to them, he can get the same lessons you will be getting.

He is definitely on board, so I know he'll listen to the audio, probably while driving back and forth to work. I am glad ds is going with me because he's struggling with everything we've gone through in his own way. Maybe if he understands what we are trying to do he will be able to get rid of his inner 2 year old :)

He does talk about getting a job and buying a car, a new WOW game, updating his computer, etc. I'm hoping the class will help him with wanting to save before spending.
