Our final FPU session is this Thursday and instead of doing the typical FPU session (video and smallgroup), we use the time to celebrate. The session usually consists of brief celebration with cake and goodies, The Great Misunderstanding video, brief break for more goodies/snacks and drinks, guest speaker, testimonials from participants.

Another cool thing we do is giveaway prizes. Prizes usually include TMMO books, Dave's deluxe envelopes, Dave's coupon books, smaller prizes, grand prize of an FPU Kit (for them to give to a friend for the next semester). We usually have folks put their names in a hat as they come in and simply pull names to give the stuff away. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can do this differently? Not that this way doesn't work, but I'm always open to changing things up. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Thanks!

Sounds great to me. I'd keep doing it - of course, it is a bit of a re-run for you, but new for the members! :c2:

Maybe you could have members in the class vote on who was the most gazelle in the class and the winner gets a small ($25 or so) gift card to the local grocery store.

I love your idea to have a celebration at the end! Maybe pop open a few bottles of sparkling grape juice or decorate a big poster with a mosaic of all the cut-up credit cards from the class.
