Which FPU Course to purchase??

Hello everyone! I'm new here and recently began listening to DR and just finished his TMMO book, which was great! I am interested in FPU, but am wondering what you all purchased. Was it the Home Edition Study Course or FPU University Membership?? Not sure which is the correct one to purchase - Thanks

One is CD's and one is DVD's...

Can you justify the extra expense of DVD's watch FPU instead of listening to it?

I am working my way through ONLINE FPU...it's excellent. Be prepared though because it is very time-consuming!! There are 41 lessons to work through. It;s excellent.

I got the CD version....We listened to them a couple of times and lent them out to friends to inform/entice them.

I wouldn't pay for the DVD version. I am cheap.

Do you want to attend a FPU class locally where you can learn from the leaders and other class members? Then purchase the Financial Peace University Membership kit. This kit also has the CD's of each lesson, so if you want to listen to them on your own you can do that. However, once you have this kit you can attend FPU classes in your area at no additional cost.

When DW and I decided we where going to "do" FPU in 2002 we wanted to do it RIGHT NOW, didn't want to wait. So we purchased the Home Study course, at that time it came with VHS tapes, but no longer.

Let me just asy this, while listening to the CD's is good and you will get some good information from it, those that have done so an later view the Videos said you miss a LOT just listening to the Audio. FPU isn't designed to be "listened" too it is designed to be interacted with and viewed. Now after yo have viewed it, then listening to the audio sound track is a good review.

Here is how I would RECOMMEND you taking FPU

1) By far the best way to take FPU, the way you will get the MOST out of it is in a LIVE class, so that should be your FIRST option.

2) If you cant make a class and want to get started right away, do the online course.

3) Then if options 1 or 2 isn't plausible, I would recommend the Home Study Course WITH the DVD's. This isn't about being cheap, this is about changing your financial future, improving your communication in your marriage, and so much more. And that could be one of the best investments you will ever make.
