How to ignore?

I keep seeing people talking about having others' on ignore but I don't see a button for it...can someone please point me in the right direction?

Click on User CP in the navigation bar up top, then on the left hand side toward the bottom is a miscellaneous section, with a Buddy / Ignore link under that. Click on it and the interface is pretty easy to understand from there.

So before you set me to ignore, let me just say it was nice talking at you. ;)

Why would you want to put someone on ignore? What are you ignoring?

MrsUSMC, there's someone who it seems like they keep making personal attacks and I'm sick of seeing them. I'd rather ignore he/she then confronting them to make to worse.

If it's me, I'm sorry. I don't ever mean to attack anyone personally. I may argue/debate ideas, but I definitely don't mean it personally.

That's the hardest thing about the written word, it's not always clear how something is meant and it can be easy to take things the wrong way. I am queen of taking things the wrong way, but I've learned my lessons on another (unrelated) board LOL
