I received a email recently from a couple that went through one of our FPU class's we coordinated. Not sure if they are Members of LLNOE, I don't think they are, but none the less I changed the names on the email to fictional names.
Anyway here is the email they sent us, wanted to share it with those that are thinking of going through FPU or maybe considering Coordinating a class or maybe another.
Hi Roy & Gail,
Tony & I want to thank you so much for putting on the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Class! It has been a wonderful blessing to us and our relationship! I’m sorry we didn’t make the last couple of classes. What we have learned has completely changed our lives and will continue to do so every day. Before your class, I was so fed up with our finances and trying so hard to get ahead but it just wasn’t working. We kept getting more & more into credit card debt. Now, we are no longer charging and we are paying off our credit cards completely. In 6 months we have paid off about $14,500. It’s unbelievable for me to look at those figures and understand how we actually did that. The program definitely works! You also helped put us on the same financial track. For the first time in 10 years we are talking & working together on our finances. We get to take a vacation this year… Paying For It With Cash! What a concept! I have also been in contact with a really good accountant through the Dave Ramsey online service. He is a really good accountant for our non profit organization. I just can’t tell you enough how much we feel our lives have been so blessed. Thank you for having such a huge impact on us! I know our future will have a completely different outcome with the knowledge we have now. I am really excited about our future!
